What is Bootcamp?
Bootcamp is a fun and effective group exercise program that utilizes military style physical training at its core.  Jumping jacks, pushups, sit ups, boxing drills, short runs and slow jogs are all core exercises and are mixed with other strength, resistance and cardio training techniques.  Bootcamp is taught by our team of fitness instructors (some former military instructors) who teach proper form and modified versions of exercises to participants at all fitness levels.  At bootcamp, women work side-by-side, hold each other accountable, support each other, build camaraderie, and reach new fitness levels together they never thought possible.

What if I am out of shape?
Women of all fitness levels are welcome and will benefit from bootcamp.  You can do modified versions of all bootcamp exercises until your strength and endurance increase.  You will not be alone, there will be others at your level.  At bootcamp, we work as a team, inspiring and being inspired!  You have already taken the first step in acknowledging your desire to be in better shape, so come out and join like-minded women and achieve your fitness goals today.

Will I receive nutritional guidance in Bootcamp?
Yes, as a Bootcamp member, you will receive a 1500 calorie low fat/low cholesterol meal plan as well as instructions on setting up your own personalized online nutrition program based on your personal stats and fitness goals.  The program allows you to create a nutritionally balanced diet with your favorite foods.  (Hey, that's favorite healthy foods!).  Your program will even create a weekly grocery list for you!

How does Bootcamp differ from other fitness programs?
The traditional gym membership is not a viable solution for today’s working adult. The majority of full time workers do not have the time or energy to design an effective workout plan, and more importantly, stick to it.  As a result, their fitness goals are never achieved.  At bootcamp, we offer a consistent workout schedule with trainers who teach, motivate and hold you accountable.  That, coupled with the team spirit of each bootcamp class, provides you with a recipe for success!

Will I be sore after the workouts?
Yes, you may feel sore after some of your initial workouts.  This is normal and should disappear after the first week or two.  We’re really not trying to kill you!  To alleviate some of the soreness, we will make sure that you warm up, cool down, and stretch, stretch, stretch!  You may still experience some mild soreness once in a while, but that just let's you know you're doing great work!

What should I bring to the Bootcamp?
You should bring a bottle of water, a towel and your can-do spirit!

How much does it cost?
Each 4 week Bootcamp session meets 3 days per week, for an hour, and costs $55.  That’s only $14 per week and you’re so worth it!  We do not require an annual contract and you can pay session by session.  Our fee includes training with certified fitness trainers (normal cost is $45 to $95/hr.) and access to create your own personalized diet/nutrition plan.

What is the registration process?
You can register for our classes by clicking on the Registration tab and printing out the registration form.  Complete the form at home and bring it with you to your first day of class.  If you are paying by debit or credit card, please make payment on the website and bring in your receipt, you will need it to workout.   If you are paying by cash or check, you can make payment at the studio on day one.   Classes sometimes sellout and spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis.  All payments are due on or before your first class.  Please note….no one can work out without being paid in full.

Can I join Bootcamp in the middle of a session?
Yes, as long as there is space available in the class.  You will owe the full session fee unless you are a
first time client, in which case your fee will be pro-rated.

What do I wear to Bootcamp?
All participants should wear a Better Your Body Bootcamp tee shirt, sweat pants of any kind or color and a pair of good quality cross training sneakers.  During winter months you should bring a hat, scarf and an extra sweat jacket to wear with your coat.
